About us
Our Shul was founded in October 2008.
A few short weeks after opening we heard the tragic news from Mumbai, India, of the terrorist attack which took the lives of the local Shliach and his wife, Rabbi Gavriel and Rebbetzin Rivka Holtzberg HY"D. We decided to name our Shul in their memory and in respect of the great kindness and dedication they showed to their fellow Jews.

Beis Gavriel is built on a Lubavitch ethos and inspired by the life and teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rav Menachem Mendle Shneerson ZT"L.
Based on 5 Sunningfields Road, Hendon and headed by Rabbi Menachem Junik, Beis Gavriel has grown and flourished to become a vibrant place of Torah study and Tefilah. With the enthusiastic involvement of our members and their families we look forward to seeing our kehilla go from strength to strength.
